The Winemaker path in Mutigny

At the heart of the historical Champagne vineyard, Mutigny is a small village of 230 inhabitants, located on the top of a 240-meter headland, between vineyards and forests. Mutigny is a compulsory stop to discover and understand the champagne viticulture. Le Sentier du Vigneron, a nice walking loop of 2.2 km in the vineyards offers the opportunity to be in direct contact with the wine-makers. This guided route is marked out with playful and educational platforms on which visitors can learn about working in the vineyards according to the seasons, the history of viticulture, and the preservation of its environment.

The Mareuil sur Aÿ hillsides

Mareuil-sur-Aÿ is located in the Marne valley, at the south of la Montagne de Reims. It is a very nice view point over the village’s famous hills, on the Notre-Dame du Gruguet’s statue, as well as on the Marne’s lateral canal, where there is a nautical stopping place.
