This iconic establishment has been given a new lease of life with a daring design by Reims-based architect, Giovann Pacce, and the support of two American investors with a passion for fine wines and the Champagne region. From high up in the Champillon hills, the Royal Champagne offers spectacular views across the Marne Valley and Épernay.

This luxury hotel, which opened its doors in July 2018, promises the ultimate in elegance and refinement. It boasts high-quality furnishings and a contemporary interior design as well as the opportunity for guests to enjoy a unique experience that only the Champagne region can offer.

The 49 bedrooms and one suite at the Royal Champagne all come with views that will literally take your breath away. The hotel’s two swimming pools (one 25-metre indoor pool and another outdoor pool with panoramic views) and its spa and wellbeing centre are ideal for treating yourself to a moment of relaxation with your partner or family.

Gym, boxing and pilates sessions are available as well as a number of bespoke wine tourism activities.

These include hot air balloon rides, visits to wineries, tours of the vineyards in a Méhari four-wheel drive, on a tuk-tuk, or even on an electric bike, complete with picnic in the vineyards and wine tastings, either with the wine producers or in the hotel’s tasting space.

When it comes to food, there is little chance of the guests at the Royal Champagne being disappointed. 2 Michelin-starred chef, Jean Denis Rieubland (who holds the prestigious Meilleur Ouvrier de France title) and his team place the emphasis on local produce. Enjoy an unforgettable gastronomic experience, in the restaurant or on the patio, or simply opt for the “bistronomic” set menu.
