A cow in the garden, a flying chair, vast grounds dominated by a colourful castle? Yes, no doubt about it, you are “chez Pommery”!

Pommery is a UFO in the centre of Reims. Crazy architecture, wacky works of art … Here, everything is designed to catch the eye, stir the senses and transport the visitor to a dreamlike wonderland.

And of course, there’s the Champagne... Pop! a drop of magic potion and you'll be ready to step through the door. A bit like the Cheshire cat, let me take you on a tour of the Vranken-Pommery world...

First stop Domaine Pommery. Here, we find ourselves in the temple of excess: 55 hectares of grounds, a 75,000-litre foudre (the equivalent of 100,000 bottles no less!!) and, for the courageous, 116 steps leading down to the cellars.

No time for croquet, we are off to the maze. 18 km of Gallo-Roman chalk pits take us on an amazing journey through the “Pommery Experiences”. You could well bump into Tweedle Dum or Tweedle Dee...

Throughout the estate, the works of art could not be more original and are a reminder that art is not only born of know-how, but also of patience and creativity... A little like a Pommery champagne perhaps?

Few Champagne Houses can boast of having their own vines in the very centre of Reims. Who would have guessed that there was a 25-hectare walled vineyard hidden away on the estate? So, let's visit the Clos Pompadour, a tribute to Louis XV's mistress Madame de Pompadour, the Queen of Hearts herself!

The Clos Pompadour champagne was created for the Champagne House's (un?) birthday. It's a visual, gustatory and sensory experience, in keeping with the rest of the Pommery universe.

If you didn't get lost along the way, our tour continues at the home of a well-known Demoiselle...

Seductive and sparkling, the Villa Demoiselle is home to Champagne Vranken. The property’s art nouveau style transports us to another time. Here, the visitor can discover the latest art exhibition or other collections.

This is the end of our journey and it’s back to real life! As for me, I think I'm late…
